Export Import FAQs – Ajmer
Yes. iiiEM (Indian Institute of Import & Export Management) teaches learners in Ajmer through live online batches led by a trainer, so you can learn from home or the office. iiiEM’s classroom centres are in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Bengaluru, Delhi and Kolkata. Current plans are listed on https://ajmer.iiiem.in/.
Classes for Ajmer are live and online. Online batches run on weekdays in Hindi, English and Tamil, and on Sundays in Telugu. Most learners in Ajmer join a weekday Hindi or English batch.
Ajmer is known for marble and granite from the Kishangarh cluster, and textiles. Exporters of these products usually work with CAPEXIL for stone and TEXPROCIL for textiles. The iiiEM course shows how to price, document and ship products like these, and which product-specific registrations they need.
Ajmer cargo usually goes through ICDs around Jaipur and then to Mundra or Kandla on the Gujarat coast. The course covers how to choose between sea and air, book cargo through a freight forwarder and clear customs with a customs broker.
Yes. No prior trade experience is needed, and the course starts from the basics. Students, job seekers, working professionals and business owners in Ajmer join, including people from local marble businesses.
Common roles are export executive, documentation executive, logistics or freight forwarding coordinator, customs clearance assistant and sourcing executive. In Ajmer, these roles are found at marble, granite and textile exporters, as well as freight forwarders and customs brokers. You can also start your own export import business.

The Importer Exporter Code (IEC) is issued online by DGFT, so you can apply from Ajmer without visiting any office. You need a PAN, a bank account and basic business details. The iiiEM course walks you through the application.
Yes. Many manufacturers in Ajmer sell through traders or agents. The course shows how to find overseas buyers, quote prices, prepare documents and get paid, so you can export directly.
